The soot formation characteristics in laminar premixed flames of pure n -heptane and binary mixtures of toluene and n -heptane with liquid volume ratios ranging from 0.2 to 1 were studied with the C/O ratio and unburned gas-mixture velocity being kept the same for all tested flames.
n-Heptan is a flammable liquid found in petroleum and widely used in the automotive industry. Used as a solvent.
An initial dose will be required to give a free residual chlorine reserve of 5-50ppm for a minimum of 1 hour. N HEPTANE AR 99.5%.
