Product Directory
Stuck Pipe
Frees stuck pipes by reducing friction and breaking up filter cakes. Used in cementing to accurately place cement behind casing or liners.
Surface Active
Reduces surface tension, minimises bit balling, and enhances cutting removal. Stabilises shale formations and reduces wellbore instability risk.
Maintenance
Removes oil, grease, and drilling muds from rigs and equipment. Effective in freshwater and seawater; use full strength or diluted.
Foam Control
Prevents foam in drilling fluids that impairs efficiency and damages equipment. Reduces surface tension and breaks down existing foam instantly.
pH Control
Controls pH, stabilises mud properties, and prevents corrosive acidic environments. Aids shale stabilisation by preventing swelling and disintegration.
Polymer / Filtration
Polyanionic Cellulose (Low Viscosity) forms a thin filter cake to reduce fluid loss, minimise formation damage, and improve drilling efficiency.
Scale Control
Reduces pH and removes calcium ions to prevent scale formation. Acts as a chelating agent, sequestering metal ions for improved wellbore integrity.
Formation Protection
Non-Invasive Fluid Additive creates a thin, flexible, pressure-resistant seal to prevent fluid invasion into formations and maintain wellbore stability.
Lost Circulation
Bridges porous formations and fractures to control lost circulation. Restores mud returns and prevents costly fluid losses during drilling operations.
Water Treatment
Removes calcium and magnesium hardness from make-up water. Maintains stable mud properties and enhances performance of bentonite and polymers.
Structural Clay
Forms a gel with water to lubricate the drill bit, reduce friction, stabilise boreholes, control fluid loss, and remove cuttings from the wellbore.
Lost Circulation
Muscovite mica flakes bridge openings in porous formations to regain circulation and keep solids in suspension with their platy sealant structure.
Weighting Agent
Acid-soluble weighting and bridging agent. Used where formation damage must be minimised and filter cake removal by acidising is required post-drilling.

Managing Lost Circulation
One of the most costly drilling challenges — and where the right LCM chemistry makes all the difference.
Lost circulation occurs when drilling fluids escape into porous formations or fractures. Left uncontrolled, it increases non-productive time, risks wellbore instability, and inflates mud costs.
Cellophane flakes, mica, and calcium carbonate are the primary LCMs in this range, each suited to different pore sizes and formation types. Selecting the right blend is critical to regaining returns quickly and preventing recurrence.
