Strontium peroxide (SrO2) is an inorganic compound that appears as a white powder and has various applications as an oxidizing agent, antiseptic, and bleaching agent. It is also used in pyrotechnics, for example, to produce a bright red color in fireworks.

Uses
Bleaching: Used as a bleaching agent in the paper and textile industries. 
Pyrotechnics: Used in fireworks to produce a red color. 
Medical: Acts as an antiseptic, disinfectant, and deodorant. 
Industrial: Used for cleaning public facilities, treating metal surfaces, and as a tracer in munitions. 
Other: Can be used as a food-grade preservative for milk.
