Molecular sieve 13x is the sodium form of the type X crystal and has a much larger pore opening than the type A crystals. It will adsorb molecules with a kinetic diameter of less than 10 Angstrom and exclude those larger. It also has the highest theoretical capacity of the common adsorbents and very good mass transfer rates. It can remove too large to fit type A crystal and is commonly used to separate nitrogen from oxygen.

Formula:
Na86 (AlO2)86(SiO2) : XH2O

Hand & Storage Recommendation
It should be handled to avoid generation of dusty conditions at the workplace. Storage in a dry warehouse is recommended. Open packages should be released to prevent contamination and adsorption of water or other gases and vapors.

3 Ǻ. According to the industrial application specialties. We endueourproductswiththecharactersofhigheradsorption speed, stronger crushing and anticontaminativeresistance, more cyclic times and longer work-span. All these advantages have made it come to be the most essential and necessary desiccant in the fields of the deep drying, refinery, polymerization for cracked gases, ethylene, propylene and any other non-acidic gases or liquids in petroleum and chemical industrial. The pore size of 3A molecular sieve is 3Ǻ. It does not adsorb any molecular larger than

Application:
It is mainly used for refinement since it implements simultaneous adsorption for bi-molecule and tri-molecule and can be applied for liquefied and gaseous materials on the whole. Main adsorbing target are carbon dioxide, sulfuretted hydrogen and mercaptan including water and it can adsorb all the material whose molecular diameter is less than 10A. The main uses are as follows.
1. Removal of mercaptans and hydrogen sulphide from natural gas using patented Zeochem technology
2. Removal of mercaptans and hydrogen sulphide from hydrocarbon liquid streams(LPG, butane, propane etc.)
3. Catalyst protection, removal of oxygenates from hydrocarbons (olefin streams)
