APPLICATION::
Hair Dyes:
- 2,5-TDAS is a key ingredient in oxidative hair coloring agents, forming the basis for producing a wide range of hair dye colors.
- It is used to create permanent hair dyes that achieve black, drab, warm brown, and shades of blonde and gray.
Dye Production:
- 2,5-TDAS serves as an intermediate in the synthesis of various dyes, including those used for textiles, furs, leather, and pigments.
- It can be used to produce dyes for biological stains, indicators, spirit varnishes, and wood stains.
Other Applications:
- 2,5-TDAS can be used in the production of polyurethanes.
- It can also be used in the production of CI Basic Red 2 and CI Acid Brown 103 dyes.
