RXSOL new formulation  for removal of copper stains has been developed, Copper reacts with oxygen from air of presence of moisture to form copper oxide which is greenish in color. Never USE common acidic materials to clean Copper, As after cleaning of STAIN from Acid it will turn into BLACK.
When copper surface is exposed to atmosphere, Initially, the copper darkens, and takes on a black appearance as the copper oxidises to cupric oxide CuO. Then the carbon dioxide in the air, dissolved in water to form carbonic acid, H2CO3, will attack the basic copper oxide to form hydrated copper carbonate resulting pastel green on copper items.
