Dicyclohexylamine was used to constitute ionic liquid matrices for bacterial analysis in matrix assisted laser desorption/ionisation mass spectrometry. It was used to develop a new palladium catalyst for Suzuki coupling reaction of aryl bromides with boronic acids.

 

Dicyclohexylamine has applications that are similar to those of cyclohexylamine, namely the production of:

 

  • antioxidants in rubber and plastics
  • vulcanization accelerators for rubber
  • corrosion inhibitors in steam pipes and boilers
  • agrochemicals
  • textile chemicals
  • catalysts for flexible polyurethane foams

Dicyclohexylamine has applications that are similar to those of cyclohexylamine, namely the production of: antioxidants in rubber and plastics.
