Abstract: Fe2O3 and Fe2O3/attapulgite(ATP) catalyst was used for Fenton reaction to degrade an anion surfactant, sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate(SDBS)，in an aqueous solution.

Dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid is a colorless liquid. It is soluble in water. It is corrosive to metals and tissue. It is used to make detergents.

 Dodecylbenzene Sulfonic Acid is on the Hazardous Substance List because it is cited by DOT and EPA. * This chemical is on the Special Health Hazard Substance List because it is CORROSIVE.
