Bitumen Eighty Hundred Grade

Bitumen 80 to 100 is softer than bitumen 60 to 70, and has a penetration between 80 to100 desi-millimeters and a softening point between 42 50 degreeC. It is used in asphalt as a binding material to glue together aggregate particles to form a strong surface layer that can withstand heavy traffic loads. It is also used in the manufacture of hot mix asphalt for bases and wearing courses.Bitumen 80 100 has a ductility of more than 100 cm at 25 degree C, ensuring the material remains elastic and can be stretched without breaking. It also has a flash point above 230°C, making it safe to work with and less prone to catching fire
